Walts Secret Closet in a 501(C)3 Non-Profit Animation & Entertainment Museum whose mission is to spark imagination, creativity, and innovation in the hearts and minds of people of all ages through the history, artifacts, and stories of the talented individuals who helped mold our society through their contributions to the industry.
our story
Over 25 years ago, Jim Simpson and Laurie DiChiara began collecting animation and entertainment memorabilia. Their love of the creative arts became an obsession which led them to develop a VAST collection of historic artifacts.
In 2025, Jim & Laurie decided it was time to share this amazing collection with others.

With the assistance and support of the animation and entertainment industry, the ultimate goal of Walts Secret Closet is to bring our mission to interested individuals around the United States and promote their love of the narrative arts through our "Traveling" Exhibits at museums, schools and multiple Fan Venues.

Our collections include artists and entertainers, not only from the Disney company, but also those who were sparked by their accomplishments.
